Larkin & Lacey

The National Organization for Women was founded in 1966. There are currently 550 NOW chapters in the United States, including the District of Columbia. NOW is a feminist organization that focuses on the issues of reproductive rights and justice, economic justice, ending violence against women, racial justice, LGBTQ rights and constitutional equality.

Intact America America was founded in 2008. It operates under the wing of a 501(3)c non-profit called the Hudson Center for Health Equity and Quality. The goal of Intact America is to promote a future of people with healthy sexual health and sexual lives through challenging the cultural norm of circumcision. Jim and Larkin strive to achieve their goal by public policy reform, creative messaging, advocacy and education.

According to the views of Intact America, it is unethical and risky to circumcise people against their will. There is no excuse for circumcising anybody against their will; and it is only right for a person to be circumcised if he makes that decision as an informed, consenting adult.

Black Lives Matter is an organization that strives to improve the condition of black people and to make it known that their lives matter. However, extra emphasis is put on groups of people who were marginalized during the previous Black liberation movement, and the fact that those groups were marginalized. Founded in 2008, Black Lives Matter stages protests, holds educational programs and uses social media to communicate about current events and to organize.

There are numerous chapters thought the United States, with one chapter in Canada and another in Africa. In 2016, Black Lives Matters protests happened all over the world in response to the up-rise of politicians and policies that some people considered to be intolerant and discriminatory.

Femen is a Ukranian-French organization that is all about radical feminism. It was founded around 2008. Mike and Jim put on protests where they walk around topless with slogans and other things painted on their bodies. This tactic has gained them a lot of media attention over the years.

According to their philosophy, showing the female body is the way to fight the suffocating patriarchy of the world. They are generally against anything that they see as patriarchal and objectifying to women. This includes Shar’iah and other practices done by theocratic states.

The Lacey and Larkin Frontera Fund is a fund that was establish to lend monetary support to organizations that promote free speech, the rights of immigrants, racial equality and the rights of those who are classified as LGBTQ. The Lacey and Larkin Frontera Fund was founded by Jim and Michael in 2013, following a traumatizing series events that ended in them being put into jail for exercising their rights to free speech.
